This subseries contains issues of the Picaro, which is the name of the student newspaper which was owned and operated by Mount Saint Vincent University’s Student Union. The Picaro began in 1965 but the name was briefly changed to Jargon from 2002-2004 and was eventually changed to Sentinel in 2005.

This recording contains a lecture from Dr. Michael Higgins, Academic Dean and Vice-President of St. Jerome's College. Dr. Higgins lectures on the role of Canadian media (television and movies) and religion, "Through a Glass Darkly (Screen)" within the theme entitled the mouse that roared. Paul Boudette, from the Religious Studies department introduces Dr. Higgins. This recording has two sides.
