Vogels lectures on interpreting the scriptures with a lecture titled: "The intention of the author." Dr. Jacques Goulet of the Religious Studies department introduces Fr. Vogels. Sister Maria Sutherland, Provincial Superior of the Sister of Charity presents the origins and purpose of the Elizabeth Seton lecture series before the lecture.

From 00:32:12 to 00:33:22 question and comments are introduced. The content on Side B does not appear to have taken place at Mount Saint Vincent University.
