Fonds consists of records created by Wayne Ingalls when he was Director of Research and Publications, and Assistant to the President for Research, Planning and Information Services. Fonds also includes records created as a result of his positions on Senate and a variety of University committees. This fonds contains correspondence and inter-office memos, reports and publications resulting from the research of Dr. Ingalls, and proposals and plans developed by him, including a proposal for a Life Planning and Learning Centre and a Brief Presented to the Royal Commission on Post-Secondary Education. Fonds includes curriculum development documents for Public Relations and Gerontology, and minutes and background information of the Committee on Planning and Budgeting (1984, 1987-1988) related to the Mount Saint Vincent University Long-range planning process. Laura Carten fonds

The fonds contains Laura Carten's personal collection of autographs and letters, which she dubbed "Autographed Signed Letters of Eminent Persons". This collection of letters and autographs come from unknown sources, but were presumably bought or given to Laura Carten by those who knew of her interests in literature and history. The majority of the letters are from the 19th and early 20th centuries and are written between external correspondents and recipients. A smaller portion of the letters are written to Laura Carten in her capacity as a journalist, president of the Canadian Author's Association and literary enthusiast.

Betty Peterson ephemera collection

Collection consists of posters and pinback buttons accrued by peace activist Betty Peterson. Materials mainly pertain to protests, speaking events, organizations, and film screenings for social justice causes including nuclear disarmament, environmental conservation, Indigenous activism, women’s rights, and anti-war movements. Collection includes the shirt Betty Peterson wore to a nuclear disarmament rally in New York City in 1982 with buttons attached to it, as well as a cloth banner with the words "Voice of Women Canada" sewn on it, also with buttons attached.

Some materials pertain to the Religious Society of Friends (Quakers), and collection also contains various posters of paintings and art calendars. Collection is organized into two series: posters and buttons.

Fonds consists of textual records and photographs relating to athletics and recreation at MSVU. The contents of this collection were largely created by the administration and students at MSVU and by larger governing athletic bodies such as the Atlantic Women's intercollegiate Athletic Association, the Canadian Women's Intercollegiate Athletic Union, and the Atlantic Universities Athletic Association. Athletic topics documented include the athletic publications created by the Mount, public affairs such as news releases and athletic/recreation schedules, and documents relating to the larger governing athletic bodies such as reports, minutes, correspondence, by-laws, championship lists, tournament lists, and participation lists. There are also many documents related to MSVU sporting events and photos and documents relating to athletic teams at the university.
