The Material found in MacDonald Collection Books series contains various accompanying letters, articles, photos and other ephemera that were found within the leaves of MacDonald Collection Books. They are important documents as they provide information as to the provenance of the book, or may contain information about the author, bookseller, or original owner of the book. The series predominantly contains correspondence, often from the author to the owner, though newspaper articles, usually about the author or edition, also feature heavily in this series. The material was removed from the books and was organized into files, with each file corresponding to the specific book in the file's title.
